Hi, Friend!

Welcome to Godspeed.PNW, a space for Jesus lovers and creatives.

Meaning over media// how to find and follow your bliss.

Meaning over media// how to find and follow your bliss.

There’s a difference between existing and living. I know we’ve all heard it a thousand times and then some, but it’s TRUE. It’s urgently true.

So why are there so dang many of us forgetting? Why are we allowing ourselves to slip into monotonous days thats drag on with no real purpose behind them?

We’ve replaced meaning with media.

why are we buying houses we can’t afford? or worse convincing ourselves we can?

why are we posting photo after photo; all for the sake of “the gram”?

why are you taking that job that will pull you away from your true passion?

why are you scrolling for hours?

why are you so fixated on your body and every freaking tiny line on your forehead that literally no one sees except you?

why are you resisting drinking that totally- not- even- going- to- make- you - obese- overnight martini with your girlfriends?

Because we want to connect.

We want to matter.

We want to be seen, and we fear becoming, do I dare even say it? irrelevant.

Buying your dream home isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

Posting and using social media isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

Accepting a job that will make the bank isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

scrolling, commenting, engaging with media isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

Taking care of your appearance isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

Healthy and determined eating isn’t bad, doing so to be perceived a certain way is.

We are absolutely obsessed with how the world perceives us. We will take paths and make choices we otherwise wouldn’t have, all for the sake of popularity, influence, and connection. But I worry, I worry how long the house of cards will hold.

I’m absolutely convinced I’ve found the antidote to this issue and my only mission is to share it with others. To share it with you, the reader who stumbled upon this page “by chance” - yea. right.

“follow your bliss”

“I will use my life to glorify that which is deserving of glory, I will teach many people how to dance, and I will write exactly what I think - so I can understand exactly what I mean.”

I will follow my bliss because honestly it scares the daylights out of me to even flirt with the idea of letting it go. I will follow my bliss because I think it’s important for people to know it’s OKAY to do the same. It’s okay to not lead the “traditional” life and go through the motions because “that’s how its always been done”.

Do you know your bliss? Please hear me when I say it has nothing to do with “success”, money, relevance, or acceptance. It has nothing to do with the opinions of others and everything do with using your God given talents- yes, you have talents.  Know your bliss, and follow it and I promise you a life worth living will follow you. A content heart will follow, not seeking much but seeking truth

There’s a difference between existing and living. Are you living? If not, what can you change today to direct your path, and set yourself up to live a life that is truly fulfilling from the inside out?

Follow the white rabbit,
