We don't have time, let's change our perspectives
Sunday at 2:00am we gained an hour.

Did you know Benjamin Franklin first proposed this idea? He wanted people to save candles by utilizing the natural light from the rising and setting sun. Then it was the farmers; they needed more daylight to work their fields. Simply manipulate your clocks, gain an hour here, lose an hour there.
So what are you confused about?
I’m confused because I still don't understand “time”. We could take a black hole deep dive into this subject but my fingers will get tired and I haven’t even finished my first cup of coffee. Let’s stick to one question for today.
Why do we represent time as circular?
The earth is round, the sun is round, and we are spinning around, around and around. However, time isn’t spinning “around”, time is constantly projecting forward. Clocks keep track of how much time has passed, they help us feel a little more in control. Time allows us to organize. It tells me when to sleep, when to eat, and when I can expect my amazon delivery. “Time” is a word we slapped onto a phenomenon.
I want to make sure you, my friend, are not falling under the assumption that you can control time, and secondly that “you have time”. Time cannot be possessed, but it can be utilized. You have 24 hours allotted to you; same as every individual on the planet. How you choose to use this time is completely up to you.
“Be careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity…”- Eph. 5:15-16a
God has given us a choice. By his grace we have the choice to pursue dreams and goals. Serious ground can be covered in a 24 hour span. Or, a whole lot of Netflix can be consumed.
Time is an asset, and it is one of the few things that unifies us. There is no privilege in time.
